Compatibles???
What are Compatible cartridges?
Compatible cartridges can be divided into two groups:
A] Replicas: New counterfeit cartridges
B] Remanufactured cartridges
A] The first group of compatible cartridges are not made by the official manufacturers, but by another manufacturer, a compatible manufacturer. They are new counterfeit cartridges (replicas), which, however, can be used perfectly in your printer. Compatible here means â € œsuitable forâ €. On the other hand, they cost significantly less, while the quality is not inferior to original cartridges. Today's compatibles are products with an OEM-comparable print quality. Often the content is also larger than an original.
B] The second group of compatible cartridges are remanufactured cartridges. These are empty original OEM-produced cartridges that have been industrially cleaned and refilled with high-quality ink. These cartridges have been extensively tested to guarantee a good print. Because the cartridges are reused, they are cheaper for consumers than original cartridges. Also with the remanufactured cartridges, they often have more content than the original ones, for the simple reason that they are simply filled more fully. These types of cartridges usually have an integrated print head and electronic circuitry that are difficult and expensive to manufacture, and are usually protected by patent rights that prohibit counterfeiting of these cartridges. The remanufactured cartridges for laser printers are refilled with high-quality toner (toner powder) and the parts of the toners are often replaced, such as the drum.
